Under hyped products that I can't live without as a burlesque performer
I feel like we talk about the viral Mecca /Sephora products ALL the time…
But what about the products that quietly sit there doing an absolute stellar job?
I have a couple of staple products in rotation as a burlesque performer that go above and beyond all the time - and yet for some reason are really under hyped and often not well displayed when you go into a beauty store.
So hear me out, for my three products that I think deserve considerably more hype (#notsponsored)

✨ MECCA Shimmer Body Oil
None of them are particularly “new and exciting” — they’re just bloody good. And honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what I want from a beauty product.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is probably the least exciting-looking product in my makeup bag… BUT it is the one if discontinued I would be most annoyed to run out of. It is non irritating, not scented and easily gets all your stage makeup off. And you can use it for a regular morning cleanse too.
Stila Convertible Color is a little pot that does so much. Its such a great price for the product as a little goes a long way. You can get that gorgeous flush which is super long wearing and works over any type of foundation. Layer a powder blush over the top for super long wearing power. And if you are teaching or doing something more low key, a dab on your lips works too!
MECCA Shimmer Body Oil is so underrated. I used to buy the expensive NUXE and Tom Ford body oils (both gorgeous but so expensive). This is fraction of the price, not overpowering in scent and gives a lushious glow - not glitter - to your body.
