Classic Burlesque Course: The Art of Tease

Are you ready to unleash your inner burlesque queen?

This 6 week classic burlesque course will see you learn the art of seduction through dance. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to explore their sensual side and gain confidence in their body.

With experienced instructor Grace Cherry you will learn the fundamentals of burlesque including techniques for movement, posing and more!

This isn't just ANY dance class. Burlesque is all about self-expression and having fun, so expect to let loose and embrace your playful side. You'll be encouraged to channel your inner diva and own the stage.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this course is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all.

You have a performance option to be part of the Burlesque Showcase on 24 & 25 July at Moonah Arts Centre (not compulsory!).

Courses are $150 per person for 6 weeks.

Are you ready to shimmy your way into a world of vintage glamour and playful fun?

An exciting new pinup dance class brings together the artistry of burlesque and the charm of 1940s pinup poses! This unique fusion promises to be not only a fun dance class but also an opportunity to express yourself and celebrate glamour.

Low impact but not low on glamour!

You will have the opportunity to perform the routine at the Burlesque Showcase on 24 & 25 July at Moonah Arts Centre.

Bad Gals of Burlesque

This course dives into the deliciously subversive side of classic burlesque—where we break the rules and use charm, tease, and confidence as weapons. Inspired by vintage bad girls, femme fatales, and rebellious icons!

Over 5 weeks students will explore how to tease with just a shirt and jacket - using subtle defiance to captivate the audience.

Expect a strong focus on character-driven striptease, musicality, pauses, and intention, with choreography that emphasizes restraint, attitude.

Leave this course with a short routine and a stronger sense of authority, confidence, and delicious trouble.

Wear and Bring: Button down shirt; Blazer or jacket. Heels optional

Cost: $125 per person for the 5 week course

You will have the opportunity to perform the routine at the Burlesque Showcase on 24 & 25 July at Moonah Arts Centre (optional/not compulsory)

This Taylor Swift inspired feather fan dance course blends showgirl glamour and classic Sally Rand fan dance style into one unforgettable routine.

You’ll learn how to use flowing feather fan dance techniques, holds, poses and transitions - blending with musicality and performance.

Whether you are interested in building performance skills or just want to feel your own Life of a Showgirl fantasy, this course will have you strutting and sweeping into a sultry fan-tastic extravaganza.

If you are after a glamorous and low impact class this is the course for you!

Sit, Strip and Slay! Burlesque Chair Dancing Course

Sit, strip and slay in our new burlesque chair dance course.

In just six weeks you will learn to take all your sexiest moves to the chair. All while embracing the art of striptease with just a simple shirt!

Each week we will work towards a progressive modern burlesque routine that can be performed on stage or just for that special someone.

This class for all levels of fitness, flexibility and ability. No experience is needed to join in! Modifications are encouraged for all movements.

Outcomes:

• A super sexy burlesque chair dancing routine set to a modern soundtrack

• The opportunity to perform this routine at the Burlesque Showcase on 24 & 25 July at Moonah Arts Centre
